NOA’s anchor davit has saved quite a few backs over
the years and our davit allows any member of the family crew to drop
and weigh anchor.
When anchoring, the davit falls outwards and the anchor is suspended
above the water. When mooring, the anchor rope is released from the
davit and the anchor drops into the water. When weighing anchor, the
anchor is kept away from the hull when it reaches the surface
because the generous length of the davit. When pulling up the anchor,
up the rope continues to roll on the davit pulley. When the anchor
reaches the davit, it follows along with the davit in an even arch
towards the push pit. Once the davit is suspended, the anchor can
easily be lifted off and stowed away.
The anchor davit is made from anodized aluminium. |
